Brainwave entrainment, also known as brainwave synchronization, is when pulses are used to cause our brainwave frequencies to correspond to a certain brain-state (i.e. lucid dreaming, chakra tuning, manifestation, etc.). This may sound a little complicated but it is actually quite simple.
Our brainwave frequencies can be ‘manipulated’ in a few different ways. An aural stimulus can be used such as binaural or monaural beats as well as with isochronic tones. A visual stimulus can be used such as with a dreamachine. Or a combination of aural and visual can be used like with a mind machine. The goal is to tune our brain into a certain frequency that produces the effect that we are trying to achieve.
